Freescale Cares

freescale_volWe welcomed Freescale Semiconductor employees today for United Way’s Day of Caring.

What is Day of Caring? Volunteers give a few hours in one day at various organizations throughout the city, and the collective impact is tremendous.

Homes are built, hungry people are fed, children are mentored, trails and parks are restored, the elderly are remembered and schools receive much- needed help.

Shona Thomson with Freescale says she enjoys volunteering and is thankful to do so at the Food Bank. “We like the Food Bank and want to give back to our community. We have new employees, and thought this was a great place to do a team building exercize,” said Shona.

Thanks, Freescale, for your time and support!
