Thank you, Wells Fargo customers, for voting CAFB as your top nonprofit

When thinking of mergers and acquisitions, philanthropy doesn’t usually come to mind. For long-time CAFB supporter Wells Fargo, community involvement and nonprofit support are part of their core values. When Wells Fargo acquired Wachovia Bank, former Wachovia Bank customers were sent a What to Expect packet which invited them to nominate and vote for their favorite charities online. The Food Bank received the most votes and was awarded the leading grant of $25,000!

Thank you to the new Wells Fargo customers for making hunger issues a priority, and helping lead our community in ending hunger.

Congratulations to our fellow winners: the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, The Komen Foundation and The Ronald McDonald House.
