Family Food Box Update: Qualified families may now receive 200 lbs. of food, no matter when they signed up.

CAFB and participating Partner Agencies are now able to distribute a full four months of Summer Family Nutrition Program (SFNP) benefits, up to 200 pounds of nutritious food, to qualified clients.
We’re excited about this new change because it makes it easier for more families to participate in the program. With school starting just around the corner, these families may not have to choose between food and providing their children with the necessary back to school supplies and clothing.
To prequalify and receive SFNP benefits, visit the Food Bank Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m., or click here for a list of participating Partner Agencies, and food fairs. Participating counties include: Bastrop, Bell, Burnet, Caldwell, Coryell, Gillespie, Hays, Llano, Limestone, McLennan, Milam, Mills, Travis and Williamson. The program ends September 30, 2010.
