iPheedANeed features healthy, low-cost recipies

Happy Labor Day! Are your guests tired of the same old potluck salad and casserole? Try cooking with food items a client would typically receive from the Food Bank. The results may surprise you and delight your guests. To inspire your cooking, check out the Austin Food Bloggers Project link on our blog which lists recipes and the stories from local food bloggers who cooked with these items.

We also have great recipes on our iPheedANeed iPhone app. Send us a picture of your dish (and a recipe, too) or add it to our Hunger Action Month photo gallery.
